  • Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit West View Primary School’s website.

Our new website aims to give you a flavour of the exciting and engaging curriculum we deliver to all of our pupils in our inclusive school. In addition to this you will find important information related to our provision.

As a school we pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos and underpinning our vision we have the 6 core values of determination, passion, self-belief, teamwork, honesty and respect. These values and our school ethos mean that we work together with our pupils, governors, staff and families to ensure that children in our school reach their full potential.

    • Believe that every child can be the best they can be, actively promoting high aspirations.
    • Have the right moral purpose; all staff work to change the lives of children and families in our community, and they give above and beyond to do this.
    • Believe that every child is special from those with severe behaviour problems, or learning, to those who are gifted and to those who may simply not stand out but try their hardest.
    • Help all children grow in confidence and understand that school is the best place for them and that every day is a new day.
    • Learn from one another, challenge one another, coach and mentor one another, building on our motto from Nelson Mandela’s imprisonment on Robben Island ‘Each One Teach One.’
If you are a parent or a carer of a pupil at our school please visit our parents information along with our newsletters to find out what we have been doing this school year along with how we are performing as a school.
